From the field

One email a month from the watershed

Most of what happens in the Cromarty Firth catchment happens quietly, out on the bank or up in the headwaters. An early morning moth count. A leaky dam workshop with a community woodland. A peatland survey above Strathconon, or the first juvenile salmon counted over restored gravels on the river.

Our monthly newsletter gathers it all into one short, honest read. It is written by whoever was actually out there that month, so it tells you what we found, what we did and what the river told us, rather than polished corporate updates. Subscribers also get the first word on volunteer days, often before those dates reach the website.

Sign up below and stay close to the work, from the bog to the beach.
