Hands-on conservation across the Cromarty Firth watershed, from the heights of Kinlochewe to the firth's edge at the Sutors. Every project below is grounded in place and led by the people who know the land, the water and the seasons that shape them.
Our work spans five connected strands: boosting native habitats like the Caledonian Pinewoods in Strath Vaich; looking after the species that depend on a healthy catchment, from Atlantic salmon on the Meig to bog dwelling invertebrates in Strathconon; protecting the water itself through improving water quality and removing plastics; reconnecting people to the outdoors via school engagement and volunteering; and bringing arts and acoustic research to the catchment for a unique perspective. Browse the projects below, or open the full interactive map to see where each one sits within the watershed.
